GL2 understands that priorities change. This policy explains how to cancel a project, scheduled service, recurring engagement, or subscription.
How to cancel
Send written notice through the customer-service form and select “Cancellation request.” Identify the project or service, the person authorized to request cancellation, and the requested effective date. A cancellation is effective after GL2 confirms receipt.
Fixed-scope projects
A client may request cancellation of a fixed-scope project at any time. Unless the applicable agreement states otherwise, the client remains responsible for:
- Work completed through the effective cancellation date
- Approved milestones already delivered
- Non-cancelable third-party costs incurred for the project
- Reserved capacity or cancellation fees expressly stated in the project agreement
Any remaining prepaid balance is handled under the Refund and Dispute Policy.
Hourly consulting
Hourly consulting may be canceled before future work is performed. The client is responsible for time worked and authorized expenses through the cancellation date.
Recurring support and subscriptions
Unless a written agreement states a different notice period, recurring support engagements require 30 days’ written notice. A self-service subscription may be canceled before its next renewal and remains active through the end of the current paid billing period. Partial billing periods are not prorated unless required by law or stated in the applicable agreement.
Scheduled meetings and workshops
When possible, provide at least two business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule a dedicated workshop or other reserved session. Any cancellation fee will be disclosed in writing before booking.
GL2 cancellation
GL2 may suspend or end an engagement for nonpayment, unlawful use, material breach, security risk, or another reason permitted by the applicable agreement. GL2 will provide notice when reasonably possible and return client materials as required by the agreement.
